Nicholas Carr attempts to prove to his readers that
technology reroutes our brains to think differently. The internet changes the
way we receive and process information. Searching something on the internet
does take a bit concentration. Someone will spend a lot of time sorting through
the internet and all that information that comes up. Rather than rerouting our
brains we are taught to process the information instantly. Car’s argument that
the internet is making us stupid can be contradicting when looking at the
resources we have now. We have sites like Wikipedia and library databases
online being served on the internet. What is failed to be realized is that we
have an endless amount of information on the web.
