I do not stand on same-sex education. If
I was the parent of a school-age child, I would not choose to send him/her to a
same-sex school or classroom. My strongest argument against same-sex education
would be that it reduces boys’ and girls’ opportunities to work together and
interact with one another. I want my children to grow up and go to school with
boys and girls and learn that there is no difference between them besides the
obvious biological differences. I want them to know that they are equals, that
boys are not better than girls and vice versa. I want my possible future
daughter to know that she can do anything a boy can do. I want him/her to strive
for their goals and dreams no matter if it supposed to be a more gender
dominant job.

There are two factors as to why the
Orthodox Church usually celebrates Easter or Pascha later than the Western
churches. The calendar issue is the first factor. When calculating the date of
Pascha, the Christian Orthodox Church still follows the Julian calendar (Magoulias,
2016). Whereas the rest of Christianity uses the Gregorian calendar, which has
a thirteen-day difference between the two calendars (Magoulias, 2016). The
second factor is the devotion by the Orthodox to the early practices of the
Christian church. The rule was that Pascha must take place after the Jewish
Passover to maintain the Biblical sequence of Christ’s Passion. This rule was set
by the First Ecumenical Council, in Nicea in 325 AD (Magoulias, 2016).

            The difference between the two
paragraphs is that the first one is my own opinion and the second one is a
factual. In my opinion paragraph I use the word “I” making it more opinionated
towards how I feel about the topic, creating my own bias. Within my factual
paragraph, to support the topic, I found an article that backs it up to support
it. The way a reader would know if one statement is an opinion and one is
factual is, because a fact is a statement that can be proven true or false, and
an opinion is centered around an individual’s emotions that cannot be proven.
